The yet unnamed show follows about a group of gay three thirty-something friends living in San Francisco who grapple with all the options in contemporary life and the complexities of the modern gay experience with the new generation of humor — maybe like a ‘Queer as Folk’ meets ‘Big Bang Theory.’
Groff will star as Patrick, a successful video game developer with a not so successful personal life.
Groff most recently was a regular on the second season of Starz’s recently canceled drama, ‘Boss.’ His credits include episodes of ‘The Good Wife’ and ‘Glee’. On Broadway, his resume includes ‘Spring Awakening.’
